February 2006 - Illumina
Interactive launches a completely redesigned web site
for the BioCommunications Association (www.bca.org),
an international association of media professionals
in visual communications for life sciences and medicine.
December 2005 - Illumina
Interactive leaves the Prudential Tower and Boston for
our new digs in Dedham, Massachusetts -- right off Route
128 in the Dedham Executive Center! Come visit us!
Fall 2005 - Illumina Interactive
lands two projects with Education Development Center,
an international non-profit organization focused on
early child development, health promotion, community
development, and medical ethics around the world. Illumina
is partnering with EDC to develop two e-learning projects
for the federal government – one, entitled “Your
Life, Your Choices” for the Department of Veteran’s
Affairs, addresses the importance of advanced care planning;
the second is a multimedia-based informed consent tool
to support an upcoming research study being conducted
by the National Institutes of Child Health Development.
Summer 2005 - Illumina
launches two e-learning programs for Boston Scientific
Regulatory Affairs and Marketing & Communications
groups "Global Insights - Europe" and "Label
Review Process". Both are currently being delivered
via BSC's Intranet-based learning management system.

Illumina Interactive launches new web sites for
Organogenesis (www.organogenesis.com),
Charlesbank Capital Partners (www.charlesbank.com),
Harvard Medical School Osher Institute (www.osher.hms.harvard.edu),
and Beyond the 11th (www.beyondthe11th.org).
July 2004 -- Illumina donates
services to Beyond the
11th, a charitable organization devoted to supporting
widows in war-torn areas, with a primary area of concentration
in Afghanistan. Beyond the 11th's mission is to offer
financial and emotional support to widows who have been
affected by the horrors of war and terrorism. BY11 was
founded by Patricia Quigley and Susan Retik, two mothers
who were widowed on 9/11. Patti was eight months pregnant
with her second child when her husband Patrick was killed
while traveling on United Flight 175. Susan was seven
months pregnant with her third child when her husband
David was killed on American Flight 11. Illumina contributed
web programming and hosting services to Beyond the 11th
in the launch of its web site and online donation capabilities.
June 2004 -- Pediatrics
in Practice (www.pediatricsinpractice.org)
was awarded a Bronze Award in the 2004 Health Science
Communications Association (HeSCA) Media Festivals,
presented at the HeSCA Annual Meeting in Denver, CO.
November 2003, Illumina
Interactive and Biomedical Media of Sharon, MA, launch
an innovative new distance learning website for child
health educators and clinicians, Pediatrics
in Practice (www.pediatricsinpractice.org),
a faculty development health promotion curriculum sponsored
by Children's Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School,
with support from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau.

November, 2003, for the
third year in a row, the
CenterWatch.com
Clinical Trials Listing Service
web site was honored with an award in the 2003
eHealthcare Leadership Awards. This year the site took
the Platinum Award for Best
Health/Healthcare Content, the top award for this category.
The competition drew nearly 1,200 entries and web sites
were judged based on a standard of Internet excellence
and how they compared with others in their organization's
classification. One hundred four individuals familiar
with healthcare and the Internet evaluated entries.

February 2003,
Illumina Interactive awarded Carol Moseley Braun for
President web site project and launches site on February
18th at www.carolforpresident.com
to coincide with the formation of Moseley Braun's Presidential
Exploratory Committee.
November 2002, for the second
year in a row, the CenterWatch.com Clinical Trials Listing
Service web site received a Silver Medal for Best Healthcare
Content at the 2002 eHealthcare Leadership Awards, which
recognizes "the very best Web sites of healthcare
organizations, online health companies, pharmaceutical
firms, and business improvement initiatives." Winners
were announced at the Sixth Annual Healthcare Internet
and Technology Conference held in November in Las Vegas.
Besides taking a Silver for CenterWatch.com In 2001,
that year Illumina took a GOLD
as Best Interactive Site
in the "Consumer Disease-Focused Site" category
for the Epilepsy Foundation of America's Gene Discovery
Project.
November 2002, Illumina
moves into its new offices in the Prudential tower at
800 Boylston Street, Boston.
June 2002, a recent
sales CD-ROM we produced for LeMaitre Vascular together
with BioMedical Media took Best of Show for Interactive
Media in the Health Sciences Communication Association
2002 Media Festival. The CD-ROM was cited as "a perfect
example of seemless integration of a variety of media."
February 26, 2002, the Epilepsy
Foundation of America's Gene Discovery Project, developed
by Illumina, was featured in the Washington
Post's Health Section.
